  If there was a Jonathan Majors channel I’d watch 24/7. He makes a meal of every little moment and I’m not sure he’s even trying sometimes. His screen presence pops more than any recent actor I can personally remember entering the medium.

  Overall the movie doesn’t quite bring anything new to the series, but MBJ threads the needle with some solid direction in his debut. The two major fights still crush, and I’d probably stay subscribed if they put one of these out every year.

  Truly pulls no punches. In just one harrowing sequence of many, we see a maternity ward bombed, a bloodied and unconscious mother stretchered out, the effort to save the child’s life immediately after it leaves the womb, a sudden onset of shelling in the vicinity of the hospital, and snipers going after nurses before the dust even settles.
