  The Wog Boy (2000) directed by Aleksi Vellis is a compelling lighthearted comedy centred around Steve Karamitsis (Nick Giannopoulos) a Greek Australian Lad that embraces his culture through the re-appropriation of the term "wog" which was typically used a derogatory term towards mainly Southern Europeans and Middle Eastern Immigrants in Australia.
