Not only Schrader's best film but has the honor of being the only film to feature a dildo fight between Harvey Keitel and Richard Pryor.
The Wedding Singer 1998
when I was seeing Sandler’s films as they released in the 90s (I was twelve when this came out), this one was my least favorite, but now, two and a half decades later, it’s the most immediately resonant — the all timer soundtrack doesn’t hurt either
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure 1989
works as well as it does, and remains as iconic as it is, because the films never takes the kindness of Bill and Ted for granted or turns it into the butt of a joke — despite their flaws, which are never treated as a handicap but rather an attribute, Bill and Ted are everyday heroes, they just happen to be heroes who like tasty air guitar riffs and think the number 69 is really funny (gives me hope)
The Banshees of Inisherin 2022
as a dull person, this hit close to home
The Square 2017
Much better than The Circle.
