I've never seen a movie where the poster has a bigger budget than the movie and still love it.

A Majority of One 1961
Their heart was in the right place. A great message of letting go of intolerance and finding love late in life. A bit difficult to appreciate the message of inclusivity when Alec Guinness is playing a Japanese man with less than convincing makeup while standing around other Japanese people. It's important to remember that proper representation was hard to come by back then if you wanted funding for your project. Baby steps.
5 stars to offset .5 stars. Not a masterpiece and this definitely wouldn't fly today but stories like this at least got the conversation started and led to greater empathy later on.
