Jordon’s review published on Letterboxd:
Fuckin phenomenal storytelling from Shaka King who is now a major director to watch after this masterful tale of betrayal and lies.
The acting is so fucking good, it really does seem like Daniel Kaluuya can’t miss a beat with every performance he gives. He’s the best part of every film he’s in. Everyone else is amazing too, I’ve been a LaKeith fan since Short Term 12, and I actually thought that Dominique Fishback was like 15 but she’s 29?? She pulls off such a great performance too.
Love the way this was shot too, so clean and the colour palette was just gorgeous. Definitely one of my favourite of the year.
