Jajwol’s review published on Letterboxd:
Fittingly enough, this film itself functions like a machine. All of its parts find a way of working together to create an immersive, hyperkinetic nightmare. The black and white colour grading covers the screen with a metallic sheen. The frenetic editing creates a meticulous and mechanical fluidity. The industrial soundtrack acts as a constant reminder of the metallic hellscape. Yet in the midst of all this, Tetsuo: The Iron Man manages to also be strangely humorous. A rollercoaster ride to say the least.
