This destroyed me. Still the best Star Trek film and a perfect send off for these characters. Fuck Generations, fuck the TNG movies, fuck the Abrams movies and fuck everything Star Trek has become.
This is perfect Trek and gives everybody the send off they deserve. Espionage, murder, mystery, politics. The Undiscovered Country has everything. So much to sink your teeth into.

I have had so many sick days where this film has been there to comfort me. Undeniably terrible but I'll be god damned if this isn't a good time.
Star Trek always does comedy better than any sci fi series. So many hilarious moments. It struck me how much I believe these characters are from the 23rd century while watching this. I never see them as actors playing characters. Seeing them in 20th century medical outfits was genuinely amusing for fuck sakes.
Plus it gives my boy Bones plenty of room for medicinal banter.
