Saw all the buzz alongside the warnings on Twitter. Had to make time for this. Sort of pleased I did??
Holy heck this thing is grim. But it's also a masterclass in tension. It's unbearable how long this couple are stringed along before it's too late. But it's also quite funny sometimes. Yes it's infuriating as well but then the film is actually about horror movie decisions and politeness so it's after a particular reaction for the most part. And it is meticulous in its pursuit.
