BRUH I FELT THIS IN MY NIPPLES

I've seen two Brandon Cronenberg films and I'm ready to say this: baby Cronenberg is just daddy Cronenberg without pacing issues. This film occasionally goes too far into metaphorical territory, and it may not be as tight as Possessor, but this was a blast from start to finish. Mia Goth is unhinged in this, and pretty much what I expected Pearl to be. Skarsgard is also brilliant. Man just goes feral in certain scenes.

Apparently there's also an NC-17 cut for this film? I can definitely think of a few scenes that were cut just so Cronenberg could keep the R rating. Still a gnarly, disgusting film though. Need to check out Antiviral soon.
