    No Time to Die (2021):
    Third Viewing

I watched No Time to Die for the third and possibly the final time in the theater. My opinion has not changed on No Time to Die. I love how it wraps up Daniel Craig's James Bond story like no other iteration of James Bond has experienced. No Time to Die has become my second favorite James Bond film, while Casino Royale (2006) remains my favorite both in terms of the entire EON…

Jinx: Wait, don't pull it out. I'm not finished with it yet.
James Bond: See? It's a perfect fit.
    Jinx: Uh-hm. Leave it in.
James Bond: It's gotta come out sooner or later.
Jinx: No, leave it in, please. Few more minutes?
James Bond: We really have to get these back.
[Takes a diamond out of Jinx's belly button]
Jinx: Still the good guys, huh?
James Bond: I'm still not quite sure - how good you are.
    Jinx: I am…

    Summer of 85

Kate: I think from the start it wasn't David you loved. It was your idea of David. The truth is you loved a face and body, into which you put the person you wanted. The friend of your dreams.
Alexis: So he didn't really exist?
    Kate: Maybe not.
Alexis: Nonsense, David existed. I was with him, I slept with him. So did you.
Kate: Yes, someone existed. But not the person we thought.
Alexis: So we invent the people we love? [Look of 😔] That's dumb.

Of course, Summer of 85 (2020), a queer French film about teenage romance will give you an existential crisis...

Heather Langenkamp: Every kid knows who Freddy is. He's like Santa Claus... or King Kong or...

Never let anyone else dream up the nightmare that is Freddy Krueger besides Wes Craven. There is only one true Freddy Krueger and he is played by Robert Englund. While there is only one horror queen that can handle Krueger properly, Nancy Thompson played by Heather Langenkamp. Everyone else are just pretenders for the real nightmare. Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994), a reimagining of Krueger haunting the original cast and crew in the real world is almost as good as the first film.

    No Time to Die:
    Non-Spoiler Review

On Thursday, October 7, 2021, I watched the second viewing of No Time to Die (2021). My first viewing was an early showing at an IMAX screen on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. The second time I watch the film was at a local theater that is over 100-years-old. I only had to pay $5 for the matinee showing for my second viewing of No Time to Die, which happened to be a day early…
