Continuing my GOTG rewatch ahead of Volume 3.

I really loved this film. I’m kind of back of forth on which of the first two Guardians films do I like best… I lean towards the first one. But this one is every bit as good (though I know some people would disagree).

I really love the evolution of Nebula as a character too (also including her appearances in the Avengers films). Yeah, it helps that I am not so low key in love with Karen Gillan… but that isn’t it I swear. She really does bring a lot of depth, humor and heart to this tragic character. 

Also, damn, that opening scene set to Mr Blue Sky just slaps.
