Fun if not a little forgettable. Hot take but I liked Asher Angel’s performance as Billy vs Zachary Levi’s Shazam (which is just a tad more childlike than someone who’s supposed to almost be 18 is supposed it be. Promising Young Woman 2020
I honestly have no words on this magnificent bold story that will hopefully shake some people up. In a normal year, I would have loved to have seen this at TIFF in a packed theather and watch the Oscar buzz rise for the entire team behind this film. Carey Mulligan will get her Oscar, you mark my words.
