this movie is absolutely brilliant and is an exemplary modern horror classic. there is a genuine pervasive aura of fear that translates well through pacing and sound. the concept is unique, yet is a perfect metaphor for extremely relevant social issues. even going into it knowing the plot twist, which i shall not disclose here, i was still surprised at the plotline and i was genuinely enthralled and pleasantly terrified throughout. jordan peele once again creates a movie that will have you captivated to the end.

i love every single thing about this movie. it has absolutely zero faults. it has natasha and clea as cute lesbians, a gorgeous color palette, hilarious comic relief, and so much heartwarming wholesomeness. i could watch this movie every single day and love it each time just as much as i loved it the first time. i will always love this movie.

an absolute masterpiece. through the motif of ornithology, altman explores the desires and faults of the human psyche. blending an engaging narrative with a twist on the classic tale of icarus, the movie weaves a tapestry that is utterly enthralling.
