Sheryl Lee deserved better than this. Minimal lines, tied up, pushed and slapped around for the majority of it by James Woods and Daniel Baldwin and then halfway through Daniel Baldwin’s character decides she’s the love of his life with absolutely nothing happening within the film to explain how he came to that conclusion🤨. Jesus Christ! New favourite character alert! Absolutely, motherfukin badass Coffy played by one of the most stunning humans on the planet, Pam Grier😍
Coffy’s dealing out justice to scumbags and it’s a beautiful thing to watch! There’s some seriously brutal shotgun and stabbing deaths in here that are thoroughly satisfying😌
Big ‘thank you’ to Grier for giving us a wonderfully three dimensional female action hero, one of the first at the time.

I love an organized woman with a plan. Frigga knows what she has to do and she calmly and methodically works towards her goal. The training sequences are incredibly satisfying. She’s as relentless as the Terminator— nothing will get in her way, including innocent drivers (I can identify, get the f*** outta the way!).
I’d been wanting to see this for almost 20 years. It didn’t disappoint.
