Where The Crawdads Sing is a mildly decent melodrama that keeps its cards close to the chest, and, although the narrative flow may suffer from the quieter moments, the surrounding scenery sure is eye-catching.
Unfortunately, there are no crawdads, nor singing, which is surely an odd choice where clearly this movie should be about singing crawdads.
