I was really looking forward to this one. Christmas horror is an underserved genre (IMHO), and I love Bruce Campbell.

It was just OK. It very much played out as a zombie movie, with fighting off hordes of disgusting zombies being the bulk of the action (they weren't actually zombies here, but people transformed by a weird space meteorite, but they looked and acted mostly like zombies). I've seen so many of these things that they all feel the same after a while. However, the characters were fun and I enjoyed the bits where they were not zombie-fighting.

This was better than expected. I've never seen much of Reba McEntire, but she was charming in this. Decent story, nice scenery, and I enjoyed all the musical numbers.

There're multiple hilarious bits, but the first karaoke scene and the "Baby It's Cold Outside" bit had us in hysterics. Watch it!

This was a decent premier for Countdown to Christmas but fails to reach the upper tier of Hallmark holiday movies. Lacy Chambert was girl-next-doorish, as always, and charming, if a little bland. Stuart Townsend was a nice prestige get for this film. Unlike Netflix's new "A Castle for Christmas", which featured gorgeous Scottish scenery, this production failed to actually go to Ireland. There's a vaguely-European street scene which is clearly a set, a similarly…
