Josh Encinias’s review published on Letterboxd:
I didn’t expect ZS to make a zombie movie about national borders with analogies to covid. He deals in intelligent zombies too. These are all things Romero would do, picking up where Land of the Dead leaves off, and makes up for the solipsistic elements of his Dawn of the Dead remake. To my delight he borrows plot elements of Carpenter’s Escape from New York. Oh, and one hilarious line reveals who the President is.
