Fear X 2003
One of the few NWR I haven’t seen until now.
Like most of his folms, I absolutely loved it. You can feel heavier Lynch influence here. That’s a good thing. The music and mood are perfect. This should be a 4.5 but there’s just something that’s keeping me from giving it that . Perhaps I need more time or just watch it again.Totally got some Silent Hill 2 vibes frome this, so it’s going in the list.

Bones and All 2022
You know, when I say that I need an element of fiction or fantasy to connect emotionally to a realistic drama… well… this is exactly what I was thinking about. I don’t know why, but that’s just the way I’m wired, I guess.
Loved this film. Loved the editing, the performances, the score and… the very, very, very gory scenes.
Seriously, If you remove the cannibalism from this movie, it’s very sweet…. but I wouldn’t have loved it as much.

I already knew who Tippet was because of his legendary work on movies. But now he is in another league for me. We had our Francis Bacon, Zdzislaw Beksinski, HR Giger, Druillet and all of the other great surrealists of the dark… Now we have our Tippet. This is more than a movie. This is a life’s work. A true masterpiece. This is his legacy.

Nope 2022
Absolutely loved it. Peele is now one of my favourite directors. The pacing and the buildups are virtuous. The cast is brilliant. When we got back from the film, I kept staring at the sky. This is one that I will rewatch again and again. I hope Peele and his crew keep doing original films like this for a long time.
