Had a bad week due to school, drank a little, and decided to watch this film which genuinely exceeded my expectations. It was much more personally resonant than I thought it would be - the eyes-open kissing, Sophie hanging out with older kids into the night, the karaoke scene. The cut from Sophie singing to Callum taking a swig looking completely uninterested - just brutal. Definitely not perfect as it takes a bit of time to get going, and I don't think the framing device is as effective as it could've been, but still a great film nonetheless. Mescal and Corio's chemistry is tremendous here. Cooked me
