"Oh, yeah. Oooh, ahhh, that's how it always starts. Then later there's running and um, screaming."- Ian Malcolm
Before I start this review I have a question: Why is this film called The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Shouldn't it be Jurassic Park: The Lost World. That makes more sense to me and it sounds way better. Anyways, The Lost World is another film that I grew up with so I've honestly always enjoyed it. Sure it's not as good as the first one, but it's still a lot of fun. I don't understand the hate it gets.
The cast is great, consisting of Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Moore, Pete Postlethwaite, and Vince Vaughn. They all turn in good performances. John Williams once again provides the score and I like that he did something different with it. The scene with the RV hanging off the cliff is still intense as fuck even to this day and I love the third act with the T-Rex loose in the city (unlike some people). The Lost World isn't great, but it's a fun sequel. 8/10
