    "Are you a vampire?"

I really like Let the Right One In and know this one is fairly well liked too, so I decided to give it a look. I thought it was okay, but it lacked the power of the earlier film. It's not bad, but it just felt like a weaker version of the story to me.

"We knew then, that we were being changed . . ."

Phase IV was the only full length feature directed by Saul Bass, who was best known for his title sequences. I found the film to be pretty good. The cast is good, it's well shot, and has a good score. It's only 84 minutes and is a nice quick viewing. The story kept me interested throughout and overall I liked it.

This film is worth watching simply for Al Pacino's incredible performance. The film explores the injustices of the justice system and features a few really powerful scenes. The ending is just amazing. Highly recommended. 8.5/10
