Pretty good eurocrime elevated by Testi, a lot of 70's toughguys looked like they weighed 7 stone in a wet t-shirt but Fabio, while not only being very handsome, looks like he could kick your ass. Also some not bad white man Kung Fu and there's blood squibs. It's also pretty brutal with 2 rape scenes, while short, wince inducing. It turns from a Dirty Harry to a Dirty (half) Dozen which I liked and had a few Contraband vibes, the Fulci one not that Marky Mark bollocks , which is top tier, this being only a rung below.

A reasonably restraint telling of mutant fair ground murder, some great sets and interesting camera work (this was so much an influence on house of 1000 corpses) it could have done with some TCM 2 lunacy or lifeforce's coked up excess tho as it looks nice but don't deliver fully, Tobe ain't the kind of guy who should play safe. Enjoyed it but was dissapointed at the same time.

Multiverse is certainly the new superhero isn't it, now this film is very good and at times brilliant but I'm gonna be straight up and say it didn't quite thrill me the way Spidey or endgame did, and neither of them thrilled me the way inception, infinity war and terminator 2 did, so yeah it may be everyone's new top 5 but not mine. I liked the universal message of blokes talk shit, women don't listen and teenagers are cunts' and…

First we discussed what we would do if we woke up with each others bits, and unremarkably both said the same anwser. Then we tried to work out whether this was a Hulk scenario and that sister Hyde was a completely different entity, which we thought she was but there appears times it isn't the case, then we asked is every grave robber called Burke & Hare or did they have a franchise. Some cool mirror change shots and always good production values, and good casting in the leads but pretty unremarkable tbh.
