Roald Dahl's books are classics for all ages. It doesn't matter whether you're 6 or if you're 40, there's no way one doesn't enjoy reading his books. His charm and personality is all over the place, and, the only film adaptation of his books that captures his style spectacularly is this one
Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox is bursting with style, personality, charm, sweetness and heart. There's just so much depth attached to every character in here that it just blows my mind how you can create such depth to characters in only 87 minutes
The animation in here is stunning. Stop-motion is, without a doubt, the most timeless form of animation, and Wes just nails it. There isn't a single shot in the movie I dislike
While I wouldn't recommend all other of Wes' films to everyone, this one is timeless and can be enjoyed by anyone. It is, truly, fantastic
"We're all different. But there's something kind of fantastic about that, isn't there?"
