• Black Adam

    Black Adam

    I fell asleep…I didn’t mean to but I did.
I was enjoying the action scenes but that’s about it.
Hawkman and Dr. Fate are in this and that’s kinda cool
The Rock was okay. He just made that face that’s in the poster the entire movie.

I did wake up for the end credits and honestly, I was pretty stoked about that.

So not the best DC movie but not the worst

  • Sausage Party

    Sausage Party

I’ve seen this movie two times.
The first time when the movie had barely came out and everyone thought it was a kid's movie.
Today was my second viewing and I was forced to watch it. It was like that scene from Clockwork Orange.

I do find this movie funny but in a bad way. The crude humor is terrible but I enjoy the premise. The idea of our everyday objects being sentient creatures that we murder and the only…

  • Barbarian

Moral of the story just stay in a hotel.

Barbarian is about a girl staying at an AirBnb but as she checks in a man is already staying there. She decides to share the home with this stranger but there are things hiding in the house they don’t know about.

I went in this movie completely blind and that was the best choice imaginable.
Halfway through the movie it hits you with a curve ball and you just have to embrace it.

    Overall a fun movie

    Halloween Ends

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    the killing of a franchise

Halloween 2018 was decent. It gave us Michael in all his glory and was fun
Halloween Kills went downhill but still had fun
    and then there’s this one…

I’ll be honest I didn’t like this one. The ending of Halloween Kills leaves it in a weird place. This movie takes place some years later and Michael is living in a hole and he finds himself a robin to his batman.

    I hated so many parts…

    Halloween Kills

There are two good parts in this
    1. The beginning with the firemen
    2. Big John and Little John

  • Halloween

The beginning of the sequel trilogy

I’ll be honest it’s not my favorite Halloween movie but it’s not my least favorite…looking at you Curse of Michael Myers.

    This movie is fun.
It gives us Jamie Lee Curtis in all her glory.
It gives us classic Myers kills.
    and that John Carpenter composer.

Nothing crazy happens but it’s fun!

  • The Mist

    The Mist

    What did they die for?

A heartbreaking movie about a father and son going to the grocery store after a thunderstorm. While there some mist comes into town. Little do they know there’s something in the mist…

This is one of those movies that I would kill to watch for the first time. It’s ending is some of the most shocking piece of cinema. It’s a shame I knew about this movie beforehand but it’s still great.

    I will be…

  • Krampus

You don’t want to be on his list…

The 2015 Christmas horror about the german legend Krampus visiting a family after the son had wished for his family to go away.

I love the theme of being careful about what you wish for. You feel bad for this family because of how emotionally distant they are from each other. There are a lot of sweet moments in this movie you just have to take in.

    The cast is phenomenal. We…

  • Lights Out

    Lights Out

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I have a soft spot for short films. I always like watching them because they don’t take much time and they go straight to the point. Before Lights Out was a full-length movie it was a simple idea… something is in the dark and it vanishes.

In 2013 a UK production company Bloody Cut’s ran a competition for the best horror short film. The winner would receive 13,000 dollars. The winner would end up being Mr. David F. Sandberg. The…

    Jesus Wept

Clive Barkers Hellraiser is about this man Frank solving this box that summons these demons from hell. These demons then take apart Frank's soul. After this happens Frank's brother Larry moves into their old childhood home with his wife Julia. After Larry gets a nasty cut needing stitches some of the blood winds up on the floor and this somehow awakes Frank…

this is a film that has more than meets the eye…

    Freddy vs. Jason

One two Freddy’s coming for you…

    First review here

Right off the bat I wanna say this isn’t a good movie. The acting is terrible, the dialogue is strange, and overall the characters aren’t interesting.
    BUT I love this movie…
Maybe it’s nostalgia talking but I’ll never get tired of this movie. It has what everyone wanted to see and that’s two horror slashers going at it WWE style.
I do wish this movie was better but I’m not mad at it.

    Black Swan

The obsessed artist is one of my favorite tropes in movies. This one absolutely served and gave us a cult classic
