An absolutely stunning experience. This is the best movie I've seen all year, maybe the best I've seen in the last few. And without a doubt one of the best coming-of-age films of ANY year.
This is the kind of movie that makes the rest of the world fall away as you watch it. In the last of its three equally-brilliant segments, I was so involved in the movie that I realized I had momentarily forgotten what time it was, what day of the week it was, that I had been tired going in, and anything else that had happened today, and I left in a haze. That's rare, and something to be cherished.
