    While this film may not be groundbreaking in anyway, it is a near perfectly assembled blockbuster in the vein of many classic 80s and 90s films. Every beat lands (from humor to heartfelt to cheer worthy moments), and every performance is memorable. A real love letter to 80s blockbusters, and another standout Tom Cruise performance. 

    Plus I left the theater wanting to see it again with my dad, and that was just a great feeling.
