“Anything with a spirit can get broke.”

My favorite Peele film to date.
Steven Yeun shines. There’s a scene of him towards the beginning that I just can’t stop thinking about. His character is expertly written and whenever we go to flashbacks with Gordi, that was honestly when I was the most terrified. There’s so much to be said here about the relationships we form with ourselves, viewership, our own ‘persona’ and much more. But also - can I please…

    “What are your interests?”
    “Suicide.”

A hidden gem. Ridiculously funny and heartwarmingly endearing. Being a teenage girl is a trip. And to make something this fantastic at the age Mamet did is just insane to me. Also gay. Loved it.

Anyways, it legit was fine. Y’all are so annoying when it comes to Marvel.
Best characters are Druig (obviously) and Thena. What they do with Thena is some great character work on Marvel’s part. It’s a daunting thing to be terrified of your own mind and consistently fearful that you…

Wasn’t really into this until one of the actors forced Hard Mike to watch the scene from Son of the Mask where jamie kennedy as the titular mask, sings frankie valli in every musical genre known to 2005. Now I think it’s a masterpiece.

As Caden (PSH) goes deeper and deeper into that hole, digging for meaning, looking for answers in the questions themselves, his and our feelings of dread pile up. By the end, the…
