The reason I play games like Skyrim or The Witcher is because of their raw, punishing and at times heartwrenching story-telling accompanied by its captivating and atmospheric music score. 
This film underlined my love for this kind of story-telling. Showcasing battles and difficult decisions that leave behind only losers. Hearts where no light shines take over the bodies of men seeking revenge. Yet, Eggers perfectly captures a certain thread of childish spirit entangled with the quest for vengeance.

Remember for whom you shed your last teardrop.
