Now here it is, one of the movies I was most looking to watching in this Coppola watchthrough.
This is just a masterpiece and I think that it's undeniable. What I like the most about this movie is the world building and the character arcs as both of those things are just brilliant. Coppola just gets you so intrigued in the world and the characters and the main cast just helps it.
Marlon Brando is one of the best ever and he shows it here on full display. He steals every scene he is in and he just became his character. A young Al Pacino is also in this movie and him and the whole character of Michael Corleone is brilliant. He is the center-piece of the story and his arc is just great. There is also an abundance of great supporting characters like the rest of the Corleone family and all of their enemies and friends.
The music is another fantastic thing about this movie. The main song is legendary and the music just builds up the atmosphere phenomenally throughout.
Everything that I said along with some great scenes that will stick on your mind for a long time, make up for a fantastic movie that will stick with you and one that you will never forget.
