This film was MADNESS! What Sam Raimi crafted here was something I didn’t expect at all, the horror elements work extremely well and in addition to that the gore and intense nature of the violence reinforce this.It really was something we havnt seen so far in the mcu. Elizabeth Olsen steals every single scene she has, she is absolutely fantastic in this movie. Every single one of the surrounding cast gets there own time to shine and everyone’s place feels earned. The Newcomer Xochitl Gomez is a great addition to the mcu and will surely be a favourite among fans. This film does not overcrowd with cameos which is the one thing I was worried about beforehand, they fit perfectly into the script and they all made sense and, wow! One of them blew my head off. I was jumping out of my seat in the cinema! The only thing that holds me back from making this a 5 star is that the start didn’t grasp me straight away. Script issues mainly with the story points felt rushed and never gave us chance to fully digest the information we got told, also a few cgi moments which got better as the film went on. Overall it’s another brilliant entry into the mcu and easily one my favourites, the acting was brilliant and the villain is easily one of the best yet in the mcu, so menacing and scaring! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
