James Healey’s review published on Letterboxd:
Imagine watching this when it came out and being part of the majority that thought this was bad? The most major of all David Lynch's work, easily his magnum opus. Fire Walk With Me is the most tragic Greek tragedy their ever is. Despair, guilt, regret, love. Has cinema produced a more soul crushing dynamic than Laura and Leland?
Also the scene in the back area of the bar with all the loud music, neon red lighting, and broken desires on 35mm might have been the most pure cinematic moment I've ever experienced. Fuck.
