Amy. Oh, sweet Amy...
A supposedly great mystery thriller book adapted by a brilliant writer and director, with a top-notch cast, gorgeously photographed, nothing should go wrong. But then the production turns into a disaster, the film is sent through a wood chipper, and is cobbled together with an absolutely atrocious edit that feels like major chunks of the movie are missing. This is 2021’s The Snowman.
Aggressively watchable, but ghastly.
