"If you figure a way to live without serving a master, any master, then let the rest of us know, will you? For you'd be the first person in the history of the world"
A daring portrait of life after war and ones place in a society in which you are segregated, paralleled against a welcoming group whom want to feed the world knowledge yet who do not want to accept any criticism. Inspired by religions stemming from the 40's and most controversially Scientology, Anderson creates a brilliantly brutal picture of intensity and intrigue in the mind of Pheonix who's performance is absolutely terrific. Seymour is absolutely phenomenal in a role that should've given him that gold statue. The cinematography is truly outstanding and utterly beautifully to absorb.
