A gritty, well acted and most importantly violent addition to the X-Men franchise. Mangold captures the torment and isolation of Logan rather perfectly second time around, presumably due to the inclusion of two major supporting characters played by Keen and Stewart who are both excellent especially that of the latter, both add weight and emotion to Jackman's portrayal, without said characters Mangold's film would surely suffer a similar fate to its predecessors.
