if you need a film to lift your spirits almost immediately, this is it. I had seen this film when I was a little kid in theaters, so this film felt very nostalgic to me, but since I hadn’t seen it in years, this was basically my first viewing. So good! The film just exudes happiness. Wes’ direction is incredible and all the voice actors are doing amazing here, but what really makes this film amazing is the look and the dialogue. Baumbach and Anderson kill it on the script and the stop motion animation looks so good. That Wolf scene? My god. That hit. This film is so personal and says a lot about family and identity and it just made me smile man, and that’s a sign of a great film. Love it so much
