I agree with Travis Bickle, I hope someday a great storm will come and wash the scum off the streets…
Ultimate sigma male movie. And one that on each rewatch, you learn something new

The good: This was a really enjoyable horror movie with well placed jump scares, good pacing, solid acting, and an intriguing plot.
The bad: The ending was a little abrupt and strange, we never found out The Grabber's true intentions for kidnapping children, and the dad was just a stupid character that did not do anything for the plot.
While this is definitely a positive review and a film I enjoyed, I feel like this movie missed on the potential to be great with a few missteps.
You can't have a sigma film summer without this film. The most iconic sigma male in all of film, Patrick Bateman.
I fucking love character study films, and American Psycho takes this to the absolute extreme in a way no other film has done. It is a movie I have watched over 10 times, and likely will continue to watch until I reach the grave.
If only marvel writers and directors were as creative as the ones who made this... A24 does not miss.
Unlike the marvel version of a multiverse, this movie made my brain think a bit, and the emotional scenes were actually well executed enough that I felt them.
