Zack Snyder's Justice League

Zack Snyder's Justice League ★★★★½

Was convinced for the longest time that this was something that'd never happen but for many reasons now I'm glad that I was proven wrong: and I'm more than happy that it's come out to become exactly what we have here. Zack Snyder's Justice League is many things; in part a more fully realized, if self-indulgent vision from yours truly, but there's a clear passion found in how this story is being told to the screen which is a lot more than I could say for the multitude of recent superhero fare.

It's clear that Zack Snyder really wanted this story to be something more, and especially in the wake of his daughter's death, it ended up being skewered to the version that we saw in 2017. There's a lot more that I really want to write about this, but I'm just very glad that Zack Snyder was given the chance to bring the audiences exactly what he had envisioned and what they'd been fighting for this whole time.

But I've also always admired Zack Snyder for wanting to make his own superhero films one and done deals that repeat themselves for a formula, and sure, it doesn't work for others but it did for me.
