Jaime Rebanal’s review published on Letterboxd:
There's never really any judgment being made towards why these people in Another Round slowly descend towards alcoholism, but from seeing how Thomas Vinterberg chooses to allow us as the viewer to hang out with them, we'd only ever come to like them more. But from how Thomas Vinterberg shifts between the highs and lows that come forth with allowing yourself a chance to have fun through a drunken binge, there's a blend of comedy and tragedy that feels like the sort of thing you could only ever expect from Vinterberg's Dogme 95 days.
Mads Mikkelsen is a delight, but when is he not? This might even be his best performance ever since The Hunt, which still remains Vinterberg at the peak of his form in my opinion. Nevertheless, the final sequences of this film were where it really started to soar for me.
