Another act of classic M. Night auteurism, in that it’s gorgeous, often bewildering, sincerely outlandish and off-putting, and then collapses apart in service of a cheap OUTER LIMITS worthy finale. Nevertheless, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t entertained, even while I was audibly groaning.
