Strike is more artistic than I anticipated. I think that after watching Potemkin, I was expecting to see only Soviet montage sequences, but I was pleasantly surprised to see all the other camera tricks and editing techniques which made watching it very enjoyable.

I can best describe Rabioso sol, rabioso cielo as a paceless (not slow-paced), oneiric (not surrealist), pastiche of queer avant-garde cinema. Definitely not for everyone, but as a gay Latino who enjoys pretentious movies, this was right up my alley.
