Letterboxd — Your life in film

Watched for a welcome Robert De Niro appearance. A very fun and breezy 25 minutes with some old friends.

Honest Thief is a lot of fun, though I spent much of the film imagining a superior version of this same story with Clint Eastwood as lead actor and director. Viewed at Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar.

Stewart’s film is a little thin, but Chris Cooper is characteristically excellent, and the ending turns the whole thing on its head in a rather charming way.
