Brendan Michaels’s review published on Letterboxd:
The film was not as crushing as I thought it would be but definitely a gentle, quiet, and powerful movie on life after death and the endlessness of time. How we want to latch onto what we are familiar with but just like everything else it will all fade away and be gone forever as time is cruel and nothing lasts. I'm keeping an eye on Lowery as his films have a gentleness that we need in cinema. The brisk runtime is nice and fits well for the movie it is. Keep close to what you love. It can all be gone in a snap.
