Easily my favorite Fincher film.
You’ve probably already seen this so I won’t waste any time on the plot.
But in this film Fincher portrays obsession perfectly.
The scene that really encapsulated obsession all to well is the montage where you see all the research in the background of every shot.
Also great CGI.
Also the ending is perfect.
It’s three hours long but it flys by.
I love how every other character basically fades into the background but Jake Gylenhall, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo. Which is perfect for the film because there all getting obsessed with the case as the people in there life fade into the background.
It’s well shot. The shots of the bridge and the use of score are amazing.
Fincher’s best film for me.
If you’re a fan of Fincher or true crime check it out but once again you probably already have.
