I'm not a pro at this.
I’ll have to come up with a better review but for now I will just say that I loved all of it. Normally I have to forgive a movie at various points when I have read the book first. I did not have to do that with Dune. It was everything I wanted it to be.
If they don’t do Part 2 then we might as well allow society to crumble into anarchy because nothing matters.
I've got this one sitting my my Top 5, but with no rating so I've fixed that and I'm going to share more thoughts after I watch this again some time in the next couple of weeks. It's one of my favorite movies for a reason; It left me sitting there staring at the credits, high on the folly and wonder of life when it ended.
This is the movie we wanted the Justice League to be. Snyder hit the mark with this movie and as it stands now I can’t think of another comic book movie I’ve enjoyed more than this. Goddamn I enjoyed this one. What they were able to do with the “one camera” approach was mind- blowing. I really felt like I was just following these guys along throughout the film. It has such an interesting effect on the experience of the movie and I’m so glad they nailed it.
