I really love how time loop movies don't even really try to explain themselves anymore, they just come out and say "we're doing groundhog day here folks" and call it a day.
as a movie, it's fine. didn't go how I thought it would, and I think it suffered from trying to add in a little too much maybe, but all in all it's about how you'd expect it to be.
This was absolute garbage.
-why did this try so hard to be a comedy? cant we just have serious films every now and then
-why was this told in such an awkward way, the flashbacks were a mess and poorly timed. All of the storytelling was just jumbled into Sorkin trying to say "trump bad" through a story he doesn't care enough about to do it justice.
-why was Bobby Seale's character written this way? Sorkin reduced his entire impact…
