Attack on Titan The Final Chapters: Special 2

    ★★★★★

Jesus this was one of the most rewarding conclusions to a series I’ve ever seen. All the arcs are closed, the emotional impact had me in tears, the action is the best the entire show had to offer, and after it ended I had a full existential crisis that almost gave me a panic attack. Fucking loved this.

Half star taken only because this is the lead up to the finale. Still fantastic.

  • Cabaret

    Cabaret

    ★★★★½

Inside the Kit Kat club reality is not quite reality, but outside its fabulous walls is the harsh world of Nazi Germany, the triumphs and troughs of love, and the bitter feelings of disappointment. Fosse ensures we feel the warmth and allure escaping our reality at the Cabaret, and it comes across beautifully. It quite literally feels as though we have stepped through a portal into a world that is gleaming with joy, music, dancing, and color.

    Cabaret features stellar…

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

    ★★★

I’m so disappointed in this. I read the play version and it was incredible. I really loved it and it was so emotionally impactful. I looked forward to seeing the film adaptation but majority of the changes were made for the worse.

    Analysis coming.

Okay I lied. It turned into an eight page paper and I don't feel like cutting it down to post here.

    Godzilla Minus One

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

For a lower budget film it blew me away. The effects are really well done. I enjoyed the design of Godzilla and adored the atomic breath. The scales popping out and the literal atomic explosion holy hell. That scene in the city was haunting to say the least.

Music was pretty great during the action scenes and somewhat forgettable the rest of the time. Performances were much the same, although I really loved Kuranosuke Sasaki. He was just fun to…

    Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Pretty fun at first. I loved how authentic everything felt and the connection the actors had. It was almost believable.

The movie then explodes into bullshit instantaneously and scraps across the floor the rest of the runtime. The acting is absolutely atrocious. Everyone is incredibly stiff and awkward.

The CG and “scares” at this point aren’t even trying. It’s bottom of the barrel. Then it ends with a link to the first film and it’s really funny.

  • Paranormal Activity 4

    Paranormal Activity 4

    ½

    Fucking terrible.

There is no justification for the entire thing to even exist. Why are they filming? Why is the friend a fucking pervert and no one cares? Why do people enjoy films about FUCKING NOTHING WHERE THE CHARACTERS NARRATE THEIR FEELINGS??

There is nothing entertaining or frightening about this movie. Unless you’re scared of how terrible it is.

Oh and by the way there’s fucking warp stabilizers on the entire film so enjoy that. Fucking sad.

  • RoboCop

    RoboCop

God this is a boring horrendous piece of shit.

The acting is terrible, the action is pathetic, the script is so boring, and it’s way too long. I’ll never watch this again.

This is pretty fun honestly. Schlocky, but fun.

  • The Incredible Hulk

    The Incredible Hulk

I hate this stupid, ugly looking, poorly casted, terribly animated, boring, stale piece of shit movie.

I have seen this so many times to try and figure out what the appeal is. There is nothing redeeming about this movie at all and I wish it never existed.

The hulk design is atrocious. His texture is way off, the color is so grimy and unappealing, plus he literally doesn’t even look like Edward Norton. I call this version bitch hulk because…

    Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey

    ★★★★

I always preferred this film to the first. I loved the evil robot Bill & Ted so much plus they tossed in a lot more nightmare fuel than I ever would’ve expected.

Fucking William Sadler is so great as Death.
“Hit. You sunk my battleship.” Priceless.
