As much as I’d like to applaud DC for the R rating, this movie is pretty shitty. 

The narrative is fine I guess. I liked the twist and on paper Batman hunting Jack the Ripper is pretty dope but the execution was so lame. The writing in this is horrrrrrible. It’s so cheesy, exposition heavy, and unsubtle. Plus the voice talent either lacked the talent part, or didn’t care enough to try. They also tried to incorporate time period accurate slang which was so unnatural for them to deliver. 

The fighting was tame, the colors used during the scenes at night were at least interesting and caught my eye, the music was bland and forgettable, the three kids were fucking awful and shouldn’t be in this at all, and I wish Batman had actually solved more to this case instead of stumbling across the answer.
