Perfect movies come few and far between and City of God is a perfect movie. The story is enticing from the very start and all wraps up so perfectly. When it came out, it got a comparison to films like Goodfellas & The Godfather for it’s rich story and artistic direction. There’s plenty of violence, action and betrayal, and this movie is still so captivating even though I’ve seen it multiple times now. It’s an all timer to say the least, easily classified as one of the best films ever created.
