This movie never fails to put a smile on my face and give me an insane boost of happiness. It’s goofy, creative, HILARIOUS and downright heartwarming. I couldn’t believe what I found the first time I saw this, it’s such a unique movie. It’s wildly entertaining in its characters. They do such a fantastic job at recreating the historical figures. They feel like the real thing! The set pieces are also just extremely impressive and keep the movie feeling fresh. I can’t imagine this movie being made at any other time than the late 80’s, it’s just so natural feeling. George Carlin as Rufus is one of the coolest and most likeable characters ever put on screen. And don’t get me started on the characters of Bill and Ted, and their amazing friendship. That’s the thing that makes this movie much more than a silly comedy for me. It truly touches my heart because I think it’s depiction of friendship is so sweet, and can be pretty relatable. Their vocabulary is also very bodacious. Everything about this movie is exactly what it needed to be, and more. That’s why I just freaking love this movie and it’s one of my all time favorites. Party on, dudes!
