    The Virgin Suicides

Wistfully gazing back to clear the haze of the mystical unknown.
Futilely endeavouring to understand the bewitchingly inscrutable.
Misty-eyed yearning, polluted with a bitter scent.
    Ethereality, bruised.

    Miami Vice

"Things go wrong. The odds catch up. Probability is like gravity: you cannot negotiate with gravity."

Brought to life by Dion Beebe's gorgeous digital photography. It's a pensive, cool as hell, almost-tone-poem that bursts with occasional bouts of bombast. Set in stunning sunny locales with foreboding thundery night skies threatening to open up at any moment.

I've always liked Miami Vice more than most, although in recent years it's evident that the tide has turned and general critical response has…

Im so glad that I LOVED this one! So much of this seemed like it was aimed directly at me. It probably helped that I went to go see this alone and was really pleased by things others didn’t seem to pick up on or react to. Mention of *the bangs*, Dead Meat, strong dislike of toxic “fans”. I ate it up.

Can’t wait to watch it again because as the movie itself knows, my mind was constantly active with…

Two all-time great actors yelling over each other. Few things are better than that.

What a goddamn movie. King Tony Scott.

The Force Awakens was amazing! It didn't disappoint. I love it. I love it. I love it so much! The midnight showing was GREAT! The atmosphere was palpable. The first movie I've been to, that's received a unanimous round of applause from the audience, although it was more of a sitting ovation rather than a standing one because I think everyone needed a minute to take it all in. So yeah, Great movie. Thank you, J.J. Abrams.

"I'm a reasonable guy. But, I've just experienced some very unreasonable things."

Well, this is it. This is what I've been looking for recently.

Big Trouble in Little China has no pretensions, no delusions about what it is. It's is a full blooded, fun, crazy, exciting action adventure. It's pure film, this is what movies should be.

John Carpenter is one of my favourite directors, so I had some high hopes going in, but my expectations were surpassed on this one.
